Los Blancos are desperate to hold on to Higuain but the Argentine has become increasingly frustrated by his lack of game time this season in spite of his fine goalscoring record, and is expected to depart the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Compatriot Pastore has now claimed that the forward is considering a move to the French capital, though 'El Flaco' did add that PSG are not the only club in the hunt.
"He called me two weeks ago to ask me questions about the club, Ligue 1, the city of Paris," the former Palermo man told L'Equipe.
"He told me he had this opportunity [to come to PSG], but that other clubs were interested in him."
Pastore, who has been capped 13 times by Argentina, arrived at the Parc des Prince last season from Palermo for a reported fee of €39.8 million.
