| PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEKEND |
South Coast Wolves
South Coast Wolves continue to surprise with impressive showings, keeping the pressure on league leaders the Bonnyrigg White Eagles. A 2-1 win over the Blacktown Spartans again came on the back of a strong performance, with Peter Simonovski on the scoresheet for the third time this season. They were forced onto the back foot late in the encounter as the Spartans finished strongly, but showed grit to hold on.
| AFTERTHOUGHTS |
"Attentions have already turned to Round 6 and a series of blockbuster games at either end of the table. Sydney United 58 against Bonnyrigg appears to be the pick of the bunch, but Marconi-South Coast will also be an intriguing clash. Rockdale and Manly, two of the bottom three, also meet."
- Dejan
"It becomes clearer every week that Bonnyrigg White Eagles are this seasons team to beat. With five wins from five games, it is difficult to see anyone in their current form beating them. Sydney United 58 could give them a run for their money this weekend."
- David
