AC Milan boss Leonardo looking forward to Manchester United 'opportunity' at Old Trafford
Convincing win at Theatre of Dreams will be a challenge
By Alan Dawson
"I have lots of certainties in this squad, in these players. We really believe [we can progress]," he reportedly told Reuters ahead of Wednesday evening's conclusive showdown between the two European giants.
"Football is giving us a great opportunity. It's extraordinary to go to Old Trafford having to win in an important way.
"I don't just mean winning 2-0. I mean victory, going there to score goals and play a game against a Manchester side who have their style.
"We have to play as we know how to, try to score goals and that is a marvellous opportunity."
Leonardo will have been buoyed by the fitness and availability of influential attacker Alexandre Pato; the Brazilian has been included in the squad list for the midweek date following a period on the sidelines.
