Gary Cahill is willing to play through the pain barrier in order to feature in the FA Cup and Champions League finals for Chelsea.The Blues could find themselves short in defence for the two fixtures, with John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic ruled out of the European finale against Bayern Munich due to suspension. David Luiz, meanwhile, has struggled with a hamstring problem.
Cahill picked up a hamstring injury of his own against Barcelona on Tuesday but hopes the diagnosis is better than first feared.
"To miss these games coming up my hamstring will have to be absolutely torn to shreds," Cahill told reporters.
"I'm hoping it's better than we first thought."

Chelsea produced a remarkable display to recover from 2-0 down with 10 men and secure progression with a 2-2 draw.
Cahill admitted that watching from the sidelines was even more nerve-wracking than being out on the pitch, but described the jubilant celebrations among the Blues players after the final whistle.
"I went off but I was four times more nervous watching it than I was before the match and on the pitch," Cahill revealed.
"In the end it was a great achievement and we were all celebrating. We tipped the tunnel upside down. Everything went over. It was amazing."
