Agent: Van Bommel unsure about AC Milan future
The holding midfielder has yet to make a decision on where his future lies, and will hold talks with his current club at the end of the 2011-12 campaign
Mino Raiola, the agent of AC Milan midfielder Mark van Bommel, has stressed that no decision has been made about the future of the Dutchman. The Netherlands international has an expiring contract at the Rossoneri, and his former club PSV are eager to lure the veteran midfielder back to Eindhoven in the summer transfer window.
Nevertheless, Raiola has stressed that all options are still open as talks about an eventual contract extension will take place at the end of the 2011-12 campaign.
"He is feeling very well at Milan, but there's no agreement yet for next year. We will hold talks at the end of the season," Raiola stated to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Milan have not told us anything yet about their plans for the future, but Mark is very calm about it. If they want him to stay, and Mark wants to remain here as well, then there's no problem. Otherwise, he will leave having had a great one year and a half at Milan."
The 35-year-old joined Milan from Bayern Munich in January 2011 and has since become an important first-team member at the Rossoneri.
