Liverpool have offered Standard Liege forward Milan Jovanovic a deal to move to Anfield in the summer, accoriding to a report from The Times.

However, the Serb reportedly wants assurances that Reds boss Rafa Benitez is not leaving Anfield before agreeing to move to Merseyside.

The Reds have offered the player a three-year contract with the option of a one year extension.

The 28-year-old has also reportedly been attracting interest from Birmingham City and AC Milan.
