From Lewandowski to De Rossi: How the Premier League's summer transfer targets fared last week
The Poland striker struck four goals in two games this week, while Brazilian trio Leandro Damiao, Hulk and Neymar also impressed as the Selecao reached the Olympic semi-finals
With the new Premier League season now just under two weeks away, the past seven days have brought further opportunity for transfer targets from across the continent to impress their potential suitors.Goal.com brings you both the best and the worst individual displays from throughout the week as we track those who could be moving to the Premier League this summer.
| GOOD WEEK... |

Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski had a fine week in the build-up to the new Bundesliga season, which will only have served to firm up the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea. The Poland international scored twice in Dortmund’s 4-2 victory over Prussia Munster and hit another double in Friday’s 3-3 draw with Werder Bremen, despite only featuring for the second half.
Tottenham target Hugo Lloris again impressed in goal for Lyon in a goalless draw with Porto, with the Frenchman’s switch to White Hart Lane being reportedly hindered by the delayed departure of Luka Modric.
Fellow Lyon player Aly Cissokho, whose name has been mentioned alongside a host of Premier League clubs throughout the summer, also featured in the friendly clash despite declaring his intention to leave the Ligue 1 side, and once again looked solid defensively while providing an attacking outlet despite the stalemate.
Maarten Stekelenberg, also linked with Spurs, and Daniele De Rossi, touted for Manchester City, both gave strong pre-season performances as Roma cruised to an emphatic 13-0 victory over Irdning local selection.
Brazil sealed their place in the Olympic football semi-finals, with Leandro Damiao, once again linked with a switch to Tottenham this week, on target twice as the Selecao sealed a comeback victory, while reported Chelsea targets Hulk and Neymar both played their part in the 3-2 win.
| BAD WEEK... |

Lucas Moura’s second-half cameo for Brazil was not quite as impressive as his compatriots, although the Sao Paulo star’s switch to Manchester United once again appears to be gathering momentum, despite the nation’s Football Association denying the 19-year-old had travelled to Old Trafford for a medical on Sunday.
Chelsea target Cesar Azpilicueta played his role in another poor showing from Spain at the Olympics as La Roja crashed out of London 2012, with the Marseille left-back disappointing in attack despite dealing well with Moroccan dangerman Zakaria Labyad in the goalless draw.
Uruguay also failed to reach the knockout stages of the Olympic tournament following a 1-0 defeat to Team GB on Wednesday, and Edinson Cavani - linked with moves to both Manchester City and Chelsea - failed to impact on the game, while potential Liverpool signing Gaston Ramirez also disappointed despite hitting the woodwork late on at the Millennium Stadium.
