East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan aiming for all three points against Arbil SC
East Bengal have yet to score a goal in their defeats by Al Orouba and Kazma and will look to kick start their campaign against Arbil S.C at the Yuva Bharati Krirangan...
After two consecutive losses, East Bengal's manager Trevor Morgan is striving for all three points against Iraqi side Arbil SC in this round three Group 'B' match of the AFC Cup.In his pre-match address, the Red and Gold's coach was quoted saying, "We have learnt from our mistakes from the previous matches and we are confident we can improve enough to be able to win three points."
"To achieve this the defence needs to play better, and I am confident they will put on a better show," said Morgan.
Arbil, meanwhile, will be without injured forward Luay Salah and defender Saad Atiah for their trip to the Salt Lake Stadium.
"Our team is looking forward to getting a positive result against East Bengal in order to recover the four points that we lost in the previous two matches against Kazma and Al Orouba," said Arbil coach Nizar Mahrous, who has been handed extra time to prepare his side after the league meetings with Duhok and Al Talaba were postponed.
"The match against East Bengal will not be easy because they are playing at their home and in front of their fans while the weather conditions will not help us, but hopefully we can get a positive result," he said.
