The Spanish midfielder has taken the time to praise the Portugal international, and is grateful to Real Madrid for his time at the Santiago Bernabeu sideEsteban Granero has taken the time to praise Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, and is proud to play in the same team as the Portugal star.
The 27-year-old attacker has been in fine form in the 2011-12 campaign, netting over 40 times in La Liga, and Granero has stressed he will never forget playing alongside the former Manchester United forward.
"I feel proud to play with men like Cristiano Ronaldo, who makes a difference and is representative of an era of football," Granero stated to the official Madrid website.
"We will all remember sharing a dressing room with him because his performance level increases every season.
"His numbers and skills improve every year and he seems to have no limits. We're very happy to have him at Real Madrid. The humility and hard work with which he works every day allow him to improve on a daily basis."
Granero is a product of the Madrid youth academy, and returned to the Blancos in 2009 after a two-year spell at Getafe.
