    Michael Theoklitos

Did what he had to in a match of few Glory chances, and was helped little by his defence for Perth's goal.

  • Matt Smith
    1
    0
    3.50

    Matt Smith

Commanding and willing to be involved in everything, though he was flat-footed for the own goal. Kept Perth virtually chanceless, however.

  • Shane Stefanutto
    1
    0
    3.50

    Shane Stefanutto

Had to be wary of Risdon in the first half, meaning his ability to push forward was lessened. Delivered a perfect ball for Nichols' first-half chance and was decent going forward, though was occasionally sloppy in possession.

  • Ivan Franjic
    1
    0
    4.00

    Ivan Franjic

Took advantage of Andrezinho's absence to push past Howarth on wing on countless occasions. Went very close in first half when he piled forward, and was unfortunate to have scored an own goal. Never stopped running.

  • Sayed Adnan
    0
    1
    3.50

    Sayed Adnan

Needed to be composed early as Mehmet tried to impact physically, and should have done better with free header from corner on 10 minutes. But, along with Smith, wholly dependable.

  • Erik Paartalu
    1
    0
    3.00

    Erik Paartalu

Dependable, alternating little from the script we have come to expect from the midfield lynchpin. No chance to repeat last season's heroics after his withdrawal on 64 minutes.

  • Massimo Murdocca
    1
    0
    3.00

    Massimo Murdocca

Busy from start, and snapped at every Glory heel. Was taken off after minutes as Postecoglou searched for match winners.

  • Mitch Nichols
    1
    0
    3.50

    Mitch Nichols

Did not see much of ball in early stages, but sparked to life after 20 minutes. Conduit for most of Roar's attacking moves in first half and went close on 37 minutes, but standards slipped when fatigue set in as the game ebbed towards closure. Never stopped running, however.

  • Thomas Broich
    2
    1
    4.00

    Thomas Broich

The man the Roar needed after they went behind. Stylish in first half without being overly influential, but began second with intent and went very close with lashed shot. The later the match went on, the greater his impact. Provided the cross for the equaliser and was the encounter's game-breaker.

  • Henrique
    0
    1
    2.50

    Henrique

Battled to find space from Heffernan. Flirted with making an impact, but skied only real chance of note well over in second half.

  • Besart Berisha
    1
    1
    3.50

    Besart Berisha

Started with intent and made few friends among the Glory players. Did not seem to be his match, however, until he finally lost van den Brink to head past Vukovic. Will be forever regarded by many as a villain after diving to win his second goal and the winner, then ill-advisedly celebrating past the Perth bench. Roar fans will not care a jot, however.

Got busy immediately and played his part after coming on in the 64th minute.

  • James Meyer

    2.50

    James Meyer

Had little time to make an impact upon his injection after 74 minutes and with the game at its quickest.

  • Nick Fitzgerald
    1

    2.50

    Nick Fitzgerald

Touch seemed off upon coming on after 63 minutes, but added movement as Brisbane piled forward.

  • Danny Vukovic
    2
    0
    4.00

    Danny Vukovic

Well positioned for Nichols' first-half chance, superbly tipped Franjic's shot wide and beat Broich's powerful effort away well in the second half. Could do nothing for Berisha's equaliser, then kept out James Meyer's late strike. At fault for nothing.

  • Bas Van den Brink
    1
    0
    3.00

    Bas Van den Brink

Saw little of ball as main aim seemed to be keeping Berisha quiet. Lost him for the equaliser, however, though was perhaps brought undone by Broich's perfect cross.

  • Steve Pantelidis
    1
    0
    3.00

    Steve Pantelidis

Mopped up neatly throughout without make an impact while with the ball. Battled in vain as Brisbane piled forward in the second half.

  • Joshua Risdon
    1
    0
    2.50

    Joshua Risdon

Began full of running to keep Stefanutto on his toes and was busy without being stylish in the first half, mixing some well-timed challenges with several poor ones. Had a torrid time with Broich after the break, however.

  • Dean Heffernan
    1
    0
    2.50

    Dean Heffernan

Wore Henrique closely and saw him substituted, but poor discipline in both the yellow cards of his dismissal ruined his match.

  • Jacob Burns
    2
    0
    4.00

    Jacob Burns

Captain fantastic worked incessantly to keep space for Brisbane at a minimum. Passing was tidy, but found creating chances difficult. Did all he could to guide his side to victory.

  • Liam Miller
    1
    0
    3.50

    Liam Miller

Lack of pace occasionally stood out, though there was little wrong with his passing. Made a good pair with Burns, as they have for much of the second half of the season.

  • Todd Howarth
    0
    1
    2.50

    Todd Howarth

Struggled to make an impact, and Franjic found some success down his wing. Ran hard but was largely anonymous.

  • Billy Mehmet
    1
    0
    3.00

    Billy Mehmet

Went virtually unnoticed in the first half, but was key to Perth's goal with a superb run through middle and perfect through ball for Dodd. Threw himself about in defence when needed, as well.

  • Shane Smeltz
    1
    0
    2.50

    Shane Smeltz

Caught with accidental elbow from Smith on 15 minutes. Came back a man possessed, but influence was certainly dimmed by the clash. Taken off after 79 minutes.

  • Travis Dodd
    1
    0
    3.00

    Travis Dodd

Tried hard but flittered in and out of the match. Crept in centrally to find possession in first half, but cross from wide in second half led to the own goal. Taken off after 75 minutes.
