Carlos Bocanegra started and played the entire match for Rennes as the resurgent 30-year-old seems to have locked down his customary left back position again for les Rouges et Noir.  The California native went the full 90 for the fourth match in succession as Rennes defeated Ligue 1 holders Bordeaux 4-2 at home.

Two first half goals and one just after the break set the tone for Rennes as they staved off a five-minute brace from Bordeaux to ride out a monumental victory in French Ligue 1 play.
