Jesse Marsch Named United States Assistant Coach
MLS original Jesse Marsch joins Bob Bradley with the USA national team.

One of Major League Soccer’s original players, Jesse Marsch has joined Bob Bradley and the USMNT in the role of assistant coach.
“I have had the opportunity to work with Jesse for many years, and I believe the knowledge and experience he brings will be a great benefit to both the players and the coaching staff,” said Bradley in a press release.
Only capped twice by the senior squad during his career, Marsch enjoyed a successful career in MLS, playing for DC United, Chicago Fire and Chivas USA. He made 327 appearances all told, scoring 31 goals as a midfielder.
"I'm excited about this opportunity with U.S. Soccer," said Marsch, 36, about the appointment. "I am looking forward to working hard to help this team be successful in the future."
A native of Racine, Wisconsin, this is Marsch’s first jaunt in coaching.
