Livorno Set To Take AC Milan Youngster Davide Di Gennaro On Loan - Report
The Amaranto are on the verge a temporary deal for the Rossoneri prospect...
By Adam Scime
The Tuscan outfit have reportedly secured a deal for AC Milan's young attacking midfielder Davide Di Gennaro, who will join the club on loan until the end of the season, according to tuttomercatoweb.
Siena were also interested in the 21-year-old, but the Amaranto are set to seal the deal following Milan's Coppa Italia clash with Udinese on Wednesday. Livorno are hoping to avoid relegation this season, and currently sit just two points above the drop zone after 21 matches.
Di Gennaro had successful loan spells at Reggina and Bologna during his short career thus far and will be hoping to make a similar impact at the Stadio Armando Picchi in the second-half of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Serse Cosmi has returned to his role as coach, just two days after quitting his post following a 2-0 loss to Napoli.
