Sampdoria's Antonio Cassano Nearing Fiorentina Move - Report

Antonio Cassano looks set for a move to Fiorentina, as the Viola look to cover for Adrian Mutu's expected absence.

According to Violanews.com, Cassano was seen in Florence in the afternoon, talking to Fiorentina representative Sandro Mencucci. In addition, Sky Sport 24 claims that an agreement is now in place for Cassano to move on loan until the end of the season.

Cassano has made 21 appearances for Sampdoria this season, scoring five times.
