Cristian Ledesma - Lazio (Grazia Neri)
After Lazio president Claudio Lotito recently declared he his willing to welcome back Cristian Ledesma following the long standing feud between the club and player, it seems the recent developments haven’t yet prompted a resolution with the Argentine once again having been put aside ahead of Sunday’s clash with Catania.

As the Biancocelesti faithful expected his re-entry into the side following a week of regular training with the first team squad, the recent news will come as a blow to many who see the midfielder as the ideal solution in Lazio’s current relegation struggle.

Following coach Davide Ballardini’s recent declarations to Lazialita.it, it appears three of the Aquile’s new arrivals will make an appearance on Sunday with Thomas Hitzlsperger and Giuseppe Biava likely to feature from the start.

It seems that Ledesma still has some way to go before finalising a truce with president Lotito, and the two parties are expected to resume talks during the week.
