Genoa 1-0 Chievo

Genoa picked up an important victory at home as they won 1-0 against Chievo. Marco Rossi netted the ball for the Grifone three minutes after the hour-mark to keep alive their hopes of a Europa League spot.

Lazio 0-1 Catania

Catania won the relegation six-pointer at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday afternoon as they edged past Lazio 1-0. Gaston Maxi Lopez scored the winner in the 63rd minute to keep alive the Sicilians' hopes of survival in the Italian top flight.

Siena 1-2 Sampdoria

Sampdoria were looking for their third win in a row and went ahead just three minutes into the game when Daniele Gastaldello struck. Nicola Pozzi made it 2-0 to Sampdoria in the 77th minute but Siena pulled one back just five minutes later through Massimo Maccarone. However, Samp held on for a remarkable 2-1 win that puts them back in the frame for a top four finish in the league.
