Welcome to our statistical round up for week 22, Roma set a 19-match unbeaten streak while city rivals Lazio are on course for relegation. Inter have scored in every one of their last 27 matches as they stay top.

Palermo 2-1 Parma

Fabio Simplicio came off the bench to help Palermo pick up their first win since January 10. He scored his second of the season, his 34th goal in Serie A. 20 of those have been with Palermo, the other 14 were at Parma. The Ducali’s troubles continue, and they have now lost five of their last six games in the league.

Livorno 1-1 Juventus

Juventus have won just 14 points from their last 13 games – a record they share with Livorno, who continue to move away from the relegation zone. Antonio Filippini scored for the first time since April 2009, having last netted for Livorno during their 4-0 win over Treviso in Serie B. Nicola Legrottaglie’s goal was his first of the season, matching his final tally of last term.

Atalanta 1-0 Bari

Simone Tiribocchi ended Atalanta’s two-match losing streak by scoring his seventh of the season. Bari underlined their weakness on the road, and have picked up just two points from eight games away from the San Nicola. Conversely, they have won 20 points in their last eight home games.

Bologna 0-0 Milan

Milan continue to drop points, and they haven’t won since January 17 when they beat Siena 4-0. Since then they have lost two and drawn two. For Bologna this was their second draw in a row.

Genoa 1-0 Chievo

Marco Rossi struck his second of the season to help his side win their second match in five to join Juventus in seventh place. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men have kept three consecutive clean sheets. Chievo continue to slide, with just one win in their last five matches. They have conceded in every game apart from their 1-0 win over Juventus last month.

Inter 3-0 Cagliari

Jose Mourinho’s men continue to fly at the top. They have the best attack, with 48 goals, and the best defence (19) in the league. They have not lost in 34 games at home, yielding 26 wins and 8 draws in that time for a total of 86 points. They have scored in every one of their last 27 home games, chalking up 59 goals in the process.

Lazio 0-1 Catania

Lazio dropped into the relegation zone as Catania climbed out of it. In fact, the last time the Aquile had done so badly they were relegated, back in the 1984-85 season. This is the first time they've been third from bottom in the 25 years since. At home they have gained just 13 points from 12 games, with three wins, four draws and five defeats. The Rossoazzurri made history, claiming their first ever win away to Lazio in the league.

Siena 1-2 Sampdoria

Sampdoria continued their turnaround with a third consecutive victory to inflict Siena’s fourth loss in five games. The Robur stay bottom, seven points behind Atalanta.

Udinese 3-1 Napoli

Napoli would have equalled a record set in 1989-90, when they won the Scudetto, if they hadn't lost here. Walter Mazzarri’s 14-match unbeaten streak came to an end as Antonio Di Natale scored his second hat-trick of the season. He has scored 16 goals already, one away from his personal best set in 2007-08.

Fiorentina 0-1 Roma

Roma’s smash and grab raid against Fiorentina was their fifth win on the trot, eight if you include cup games. They are now unbeaten in 19 games, earning 16 wins and three draws. Roma’s 44 points are double neighbours Lazio’s 22. They have earned 33 points in 13 games, six more than league leaders Inter over the same stretch.
