Juve are in turmoil after a string of disappointing results that have left them 17 points adrift of leaders Inter in Serie A after having already bowed out of the Champions League and the Coppa Italia.
The club hierarchy is reportedly planning a major summer clear-out and press reports have suggested Leonardi is on the short-list to replace director of sport Alessio Secco and pull the strings in the transfer market ahead of the 2010-11 campaign.
“I’m not thinking of Juve and I will not move to Turin,” Leonardi told TV Parma show ‘Bar Sport’ last night.
“My project is that of Parma and its president [Tommaso] Ghirardi.”
Leonardi has worked wonders in Emilia Romagna this season after joining the club from Udinese. The 46-year-old completed a series of high-profile signings in the Calciomercato despite the small funds at his disposal, and the newly-promoted Gialloblu are sitting relatively safely in mid-table.
