AC Milan midfielder Amantino Mancini has shrugged off the comments of club president Silvio Berlusconi, saying he is only concerned with his performances on the pitch with the Rossoneri.

Mancini moved to the Rossoneri on loan from city rivals Inter during the winter transfer window. However, Berlusconi told the media he was unhappy with the move because he did not understand it.

"I respect his opinion," he told Globoesporte.

"He is the club owner and he can say what he wants. I just have to worry about my work on the field, as I have always done during my career."

In contrast, his coach at Inter, Jose Mourinho, was satisfied that Mancini managed to secure a move elsewhere. The player had only featured in six matches for the Nerazzurri in 2009-10 thus far.

"I prefer not to comment. Now Milan and Leonardo are on my mind and I'm very happy about that. He and [Milan vice-president Adriano] Galliani showed great interest in me and I was not playing at Inter," he concluded.

Mancini played the entire match for his new club this past weekend, a scoreless draw with Bologna.
