According to reports in the Italian media, Palermo and Juventus have been alerted to the possible availability of West Ham’s Valon Behrami.

The Swiss international has been increasingly linked with a move away from the Hammers in recent weeks amidst rumours that he is set to join Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart.

However, according to calciomercato.com, Juventus and Palermo are considering making a summer swoop for the former Lazio man.

Behrami spent almost his entire career in Italy before making the switch to London and the Premier League with West Ham and reports suggest the 24-year-old may be ready for a return to Calcio.

Stuttgart are said to be the current front-runners for Behrami’s signature as Swiss manager Christian Gross is keen to hook up with his compatriot.

West Ham are said to have slapped a €10 million price tag on his head however the Hammers will probably want to at least double the £5 million they paid Lazio for the wideman’s signature.
