Juventus will ask Barcelona for a discount when they attempt to sign Martin Caceres on a permanent basis.
Caceres joined Juventus last summer on a season-long loan agreement with the option to sign permanently.
The Italians will use the clause to keep him, but they are unwilling to meet the €12million asking price Barcelona have set, according to Tuttosport.
A Juventus entourage working on a deal for Caceres has been told by club chiefs to head out to Barcelona and ask them for a discount.
Juve are hoping to get a €3m reduction, and they are unwilling to go above €9m.
Caceres has been a regular part of plans this term, and the Italian side are working hard to keep him. Developments are expected to unfold between both clubs.
