Flamengo striker Adriano will reject advances from Milan because he prefers a move to Roma, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

Milan and Roma are both set to fight it out for the Brazilian hitman in the summer after he made it clear he wants a Serie A return.

The former Inter man has revived his career in Brazil and has attracted attention. His agent Gilmar Rinaldi has said an Italian return is possible.

Roma are in pole position though. Adriano has previously said he wouldn't mind playing with Francesco Totti, fuelling speculation he will join him in the capital.

Adriano scored 74 goals in 177 appearances for Inter.
