Andrea Poli: I want to stay at Inter for many years
The promising midfielder is happy with life at the Nerazzurri after making a quick adaptation at the club, and is keen to stay beyond his loan stint after this season
By Stefan Coerts
The 22-year-old joined Inter from Sampdoria in the summer of 2011 on a one-year loan deal and the Nerazzurri have the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
"It's an exciting feeling to pull on the Inter shirt and I hope to be able to do it for many years. San Siro is wonderful with the fans who are always behind us and I want to thank them for welcoming me here," Poli said to Inter Channel.
"I like Inter because it's a club that wants to win things. I felt comfortable here right from the start, especially with president [Massimo] Moratti: he's a very intelligent person and someone you take to immediately, a great man.
"I get on well with all the players, I really do, although there's obviously a stronger bond with the players I knew at Sampdoria."
Poli has so far made four Serie A appearances for Inter in 2011-12.
