Guti's agent has insisted that he has not yet been contacted by Lazio in relation to a potential switch to the Stadio Olimpico.

The former Spain international is currently a free agent, having parted company with Besiktas in November, and has been repeatedly linked with a move to Asia.

Indeed, the player's representative, Marco Kirdemir, has admitted that his client is most likely to end up in China, but he did admit that Guti's interest has been piqued by rumoured interest from the Biancocelesti.

"At the moment there are no offers,” the Fifa agent told Goal.com. “I have not spoken to any Lazio directors.

“If an offer is submitted to us, we would evaluate it [because], certainly, Serie A is a championship of a great standard.”

However, while Kirdemir revealed that he has received offers from both Turkey and the United States, his client is likely to end up in China.

"He's got an offer from Turkey,” he explained. “A team wanted him for 8 games, but we refused that because the player wants to experience a different country.

“I've also been to Dubai, but the offer there did not convince us.

“He could have gone to the Los Angeles Galaxy if David Beckham had not renewed his contract and, in the next few days, I’m to receive an offer from the United States.

“But, currently the preferred solution is Asia. In the coming days, I will go to China to talk to some clubs.”

Guti, who was capped 14 times by Spain in his pomp, spent 15 years at the Santiago Bernabeu before joining Besiktas in 2010.
