There has been no contact with Inter, says Atalanta director
The 57-year-old Avellino native has worked with a number of top clubs in Italy and is now reportedly being head-hunted by Nerazzurri supremo Massimo Moratti
Atalanta technical director Pierpaolo Marino has dismissed speculation linking him with Inter, insisting that he is happy in Bergamo. It has been reported that Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti is keen on hiring the 57-year-old, who has previously worked with Napoli, Roma and Udinese.
However, Marino claims that he has not been approached by the oil tycoon about taking up residence at Appiano Gentile.
"There has been absolutely no contact with the Nerazzurri," he told Controcampo.
"I have found the ideal environment for myself, with an earnest and old-fashioned president in Antonio Percassi, who is the perfect person to work with."
Atalanta are currently 11th in Serie A, but would be eighth had they not been docked six points before the season began for their involvement in a match-fixing scandal.
