VIDEO: Real Potosi 2-1 Flamengo highlights
An early lead for the Rio side was cancelled out almost immediately in the heights of Bolivia, but despite a narrow defeat Ronaldinho and co. are very much in the Libertadores tie
Fighting in the prelims for a place in the Copa group stage, Flamengo got off to a perfect start when, after 28 minutes, Luiz Antonio Moraes opened the scoring for what could prove to be a vital away goal.
The team failed to push forward, however, and that effort was the only shot on goal mustered in the entire 90 minutes by Ronaldinho's visitors.
Potosi levelled just two minutes after Moraes' effort, and as the 4000m elevation of the Andean city took its toll, Edgardo Britez took advantage in the second half to win the match and give the home side a fighting chance in the return leg.
