Juliano Belletti says Neymar has room in Barcelona's squad
The retired defender believes that the Brazilian prodigy would thrive at Camp Nou and that the Catalan club would make him the best player in the game
By Luis Mira
The Camp Nou outfit have been suggested as one of the likeliest destinations for the 20-year-old forward, who has commited his future to Santos until 2014, when his contract expires.
"Neymar has a place in Barca's current team," Belletti told COM Radio.
"He is an impressive player and he could succeed at Barca, who would allow a player of his caliber to succeed.
"Barca are a club who could make Neymar the best in the world, just like they have done with [Lionel] Messi."
Last month, Barcelona president Sandro Rosell hinted that the club could try to sign Neymar in 2014.
Chelsea coach Andre Villas-Boas said on Monday that the Brazil international has already chosen his next destination, while saying that a transfer to Stamford Bridge is not in the player's plans.
