Atletico Madrid should bid for Trabzonspor striker Burak Yilmaz, according to the 26-year-old's international team-mate Arda Turan.

Burak has been on fire for Senol Gunes' side this season, scoring 25 goals in just 21 Super Lig games, leading to speculation linking him with the likes of Arsenal, AC Milan and Dortmund.

Arda feels that his side would be wise to secure the former Besiktas striker's signature themselves.

"They should bring him here without thinking. He's the Thierry Henry of Turkish football," Arda said according to AS.

"It's not in the Spanish league, but you don't score 25 goals by chance. He has a good shot, is tall and and works hard. Atletico would do well to buy him."

Burak is a mainstay in the Turkish national team, scoring three goals in his 13 appearances so far.
