Hamburg are considering making a move for Kaiserslautern goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, according to Kicker.

HSV are reportedly in the market for a new goalkeeper, with reports claiming that Rene Adler, who has fallen out of favour at Bayer Leverkusen, will join the club in the summer.

However, Kaiserslautern are currently involved in a relegation battle, and should they have to spend a season in the 2. Bundesliga, would struggle to keep Trapp.

The 21-year-old's contract expires in June 2013 and he could be available on the cheap. Trapp, who came through the youth ranks at Kaiserslautern, has made nine appearances for Germany's Under-21 side so far.
