Barcelona Defender Gerard Pique Wants To Lift Champions League Trophy At Bernabeu
The Barcelona man says he would hardly be able to contain himself...
The final of this year’s UEFA Champions League will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Pique has expressed his 'excitement' at the prospect of lifting the coveted trophy in Real Madrid's home stadium.
If we won over at Real Madrid’s Bernabeu, it would be fantastic, a marvellous feeling, a superorgasmo," he told Interviu.
The former Manchester United man also admitted that is “very happy” at the club and that he never wants to leave Barcelona again, insisting that he will see out the remainder of his career in Catalonia.
"My desire is not to go anywhere else,” he said, “I want to retire at the Camp Nou."
Finally, Pique heaped more praise on coach Pep Guardiola, “He is the ideal coach for the club. Guardiola knows how to convey his ideas to the players and will go with them to the end of the earth.”
