Barcelona resumed full training today after beating Getafe at the weekend in a topsy-turvy match that saw two Barca defenders sent-off in the match. However, there were three notable absences from the squad as the team took to the training pitch.

As reported by Sport, Dani Alves, Yaya Toure and Carles Puyol, who was suspended for the Getafe match, are all suffering from knocks and trained separately from the rest of the team.

Both Alves and Toure were injured in the Getafe match. Alves was included in the starting line-up, but moments before the match was withdrawn after reaggravating an injury that will now keep him out of action for three weeks. Toure was substituted in the Getafe match and will be out for 15 days.

Puyol trained apart from his team-mates, but it is anticipated that the defender will join the rest of the team in the coming days to prepare for Barca's next Liga fixture. Barca travel to Madrid to take on Atletico de Madrid in the Vicente Calderon next weekend.
