Franck Ribery: Thierry Henry Would Love To See Me At Barcelona
Frenchman could be Barcelona bound…
By Rupert Fryer
"I get on very well with Titi (Henry). I know that he would like to see me there," Ribery told RTL Radio. "I know people want me to stay [with Bayern]. But whether I stay or go, it will not be an easy decision,"
The 2008 German Footballer of the Year went on to reveal concerns that his career may pass him by without ever winning a major trophy.
"I want to win trophies and enjoy myself. I do not have twenty years, I'm closer to the end [of my career],” he said
Finally, Ribery acknowledged that while Bayern were a huge club, he felt the squad was still some way behind Europe’s best.
"Bayern is still a big club. It is one of the largest in the world, but I feel our team is not as strong as other teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United or Chelsea,"
Ribery is still mulling over Bayern’s latest offer of a new contract and has been heavily linked with both Barcelona and Real Madrid over the last few weeks.
