As reported by Sport, Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti has praised Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola for his great success with the Blaugrana.
According to the former Milan boss, Guardiola deserves credit for having built a close-knit squad with a defined style of play that supercedes the talented individuals that comprise the team. It is thus that the Italian is not surprised that Zlatan Ibrahimovic, an undisputed star at Inter, has become a player as important as the rest at Barcelona.
"It does not surprise me", declared the Chelsea gaffer. "In Barcelona, every player is important and no one is indispensable. I congratulate Guardiola for his work."
Barcelona and Chelsea have had a tense rivalry in the Champions League in past years, never moreso than last year when the Blaugrana won a contentious second leg with a late goal by Andres Iniesta. Many anticipate a similarly high-stakes affair should the two meet in European competition this year.
