By Paul Madden
Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has insisted that he is happy at the club and has no intention of leaving.
Recent speculation has linked the Ivorian central midfielder with a move to the English Premier League with Arsenal and Manchester City said to be amongst his suitors but Toure is adamant that he wants to stay at Camp Nou.
"There is no better club to play at than Barca. I'm happy here and am not thinking of leaving," he is quoted as saying by El Mundo Deportivo.
With homegrown star Sergi Busquets currently enjoying more time in hte first eleven than the 26-year-old, Toure insists he respects the decisions of the coach and just wants to win more trophies with the Catalan giants.
"We must respect the decisions of [Pep] Guardiola. He's a great player, he knows the game plan perfectly and is very smart on the field, he just needs a little progress physically," Toure noted.
"Winning six titles is something historic but I am ambitious and want to win more. Guardiola is the most important person. He supports the team, helps you in difficult times and makes playing at a club like Barca a bit easier."
