In comments about yesterday's Champions League fixture against Stuttgart, Barcelona central defender Gerard Pique, who provided the assist for Zlatan Ibrahmovic's strike - albeit possibly from an offside position, had harsh criticism for his own team's performance, as reported by Sport.

"One needs to recognise that the team was not polished. We lost a lot of possession in dangerous places and they countered well. After our goal in the second half we were much better connected and had more confidence. After that, we dominated the match.

"If we play as we did in the first half, we are not going to last long in this competition. We hope that the second half gives us the confidence to keep fighting and playing dynamic football," concluded the ex-Manchester United man.
