Jesus Navas, Sevilla (Peace Cup)
As reported by Spanish sports daily Marca, Real Madrid have been following Sevilla winger Jesus Navas as a possible signing for this summer.

According to Los Blancos, Navas has now developed the sufficient maturity to make the jump to a big team in Europe. What could possibly complicate the signing would be the player's contract with the Andalucian club running until 2012 with a rescision clause of €60 million.

Sevilla president Jose Maria De Nido has previously gone on record to declare Navas as untransferable, but the same was said of Jose Antonio Reyes, Julio Baptista, Sergio Ramos, Daniel Alves, Seydou Keita and Christian Poulsen and Madrid president Florentino Perez has had good luck in past negotiations with the Sevilla supremo.

According to Marca, Navas' arrival in Madrid would keep Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery out of the side.

Somewhat bizarrely, Barcelona-based daily Sport also released a report today, albeit under a relatively inconspicuous headline, declaring that Navas was in Barca's sights as well, possibly setting the stage for a summer bidding war between the two Spanish giants for the very talented winger.

Navas was one of Sevilla's most dangerous players in their Champions League draw yesterday against CSKA Moscow and has been billed to be included in Vicente Del Bosque's Spanish national team for this summer's World Cup.
