Barcelona's Gabriel Milito: During My Injury Woes, I Was Inconsolable
Gabi Milito looks to have put the worst behind him as he continues to serve as an important piece of the Barca defence...

Milito finally returned to play in the Champions League again on Tuesday and highlighted just how grateful he was to again be able to perform in the competition.
"It was a very difficult year and a half for me. I never thought something like that would happen to me, but I always worked hard to be able to return. During my injury, I was completely inconsolable. One tries to separate his profession from his personal life, but I think of football always and it was very difficult for me to miss one match, let alone a year and a half. I am very happy to be back."
Asked if Barca's slip up against Atletico de Madrid was any cause for concern, Milito was dismissive. "Not at all. We are happy as a team and one cannot sound the alarms because of one match."
Responding to a question about the Liga title race between Real Madrid and Barcelona, Milito refused to count out Los Blancos. "In Spain there are some very good teams, but the strongest are Real Madrid and Barcelona. Madrid are a great team and are doing very well."
