Barcelona's Carles Puyol And Lionel Messi Thrilled With Malaga Win

Barcelona claimed a dramatic win over Malaga on Saturday night, and Carles Puyol and Lionel Messi were ecstatic with the result.

Speaking to AS after the game, Messi said, "We suffered a lot in a game that we should have won by more goals, but the important thing is that we won."

"We cannot lose points to Real Madrid now."

Carles Puyol, meanwhile, echoed similar sentiments, saying, "We played a very good game, with a great result."

"The important thing was to win. After Malaga's goal, we reacted.

"We have returned to our normal form."
