Barcelona midfielder Aliaksandr Hleb has confirmed that we will return to the Camp Nou when his loan spell at German outfit VfB Stuttgart concludes at the end of the season.

The Belarussian international has been substituted nine times since the arrival of Christian Gross at die Schwaben in December to replace Markus Babbel.

Hleb is unhappy at the treatment he has received from the Swiss coach and, after being withdrawn during yesterday’s win over Eintracht Frankfurt, the 28-year old made his feelings clear to the waiting press over his desire to return to Spain.

He said, in a tongue-in-cheek fashion, “Obviously my contract only states that I can play for 60 minutes of the match.

“But the team clearly plays better without me, so the coach has done everything right. I have no idea what he expects from me, but I have a problem with him. Before the Cologne game we had a chat, but nothing came of it.”

The former Arsenal playmaker, who moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2008, also stated that he is unsure if he will remain with the Blaugrana for the beginning of next season.

He added: “Only Barcelona decide where my future lies, and there have already been some positive talks.

“The chances of me staying with Stuttgart are nil.”
