In comments reported by Sport, Cruyff admitted: "This season, there have been a few matches in which the champions of everything have not been playing at the level of what they achieved."
Cruyff also spoke of a repetition of the same errors and criticised Pep Guardiola's players for "not learning" from their mistakes. "The team's reaction when they were reduced to 10 men leads one to be optimistic, but there are certain players that are not up to rub," said the former Barca coach.
Without naming names, Cruyff went further to implore some members of Barca's squad to "take a hard look in the mirror" to see "what they did and what they are doing".
Finally, Cruyff commented on Real Madrid's comeback against Sevilla as they prepare to face Lyon in the Champions League, believing that Los Blancos could come out of their weekend match as a "dangerously strong" team.
