Barcelona's French attacker Thierry Henry missed training today with an injury to his Achilles tendon as the rest of the Blaugrana squad took part in a training session on a pitch covered in a blanket of snow.

As reported by Sport, Spanish defender Carles Puyol left training early along with the team's doctor and reports indicate that the captain expressed back problems. The niggling injury does not seem to have put Puyol in the missing list ahead of Saturday's Liga fixture against Valencia at the Camp Nou.

Seydou Keita and Eric Abidal continued to be out of training with long-term injuries while Barca youth player Marc Muniesa was the only player called up from the reserve squad.
