Official: Sevilla appoint Michel as new coach
The former Getafe boss has taken the reins at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan until the end of the season, following the dismissal of Marcelino, who was sacked on Monday

The ex-Real Madrid midfielder has also been promised a long-term contract if he is able to secure Champions League football for the Andalusian outfit, who have chosen to act quickly after sacking Marcelino on Monday.
Mallorca boss Joaquin Caparros had been the favourite to land the job, in what would have been his second spell at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but it is now believed that Getafe may go back for him in the summer if they do not retain the services of Michel.
The 48-year-old coached Getafe from 2009-11 but left last summer after the club did not offer him a new deal.
Michel will preside over his first match on February 13 against Real Sociedad, as 11th-placed Sevilla aim to climb up the Primera Division standings.
