One of the most enthralling sides in the Super League last season, Terengganu FA will be hell-bent on triumphing this year.

With the departure of Irfan Bakti, Mat Zan Mat Aris has been reinstated as their boss and the former Kuala Lumpur coach will be leading their quest for glory this year.
Mat Zan has retrieved a formidable side from Irfan, and he has chosen to maintain the original core of the team with the likes of Abdul Hadi Yahya, Ashaari Shamsuddin and Marzuki Yusof all maintaining their place in the team.
In addition to that, three Harimau Muda A players have been signed in the form of Muslim Ahmad, Abdul Shukor Jusoh and Faizal Muhammad.
The success of Harimau Muda throughout 2011 has been well documented and Terengganu have indeed signed three talented gems who will be a breath of fresh air for their team.
The Turtles are well-known for their sturdy defence, reliable midfield and fluid attack- something that seems bound to continue this year as well. With Muslim’s arrival in defence, Mat Zan’s boys will certainly be a tough nut to crack in the upcoming season.
If all these seemed exquisite enough, Terengganu have also snapped up two terrific import signings in the form of Brazilian midfielder Erison Da Silva Santos and former DC United striker Francis Doe. Both players come in a massive CV, and will provide a much vaunted boost for the Turtles.
On paper, it portrays positivity with Terengganu assembling a squad capable of challenging on all fronts. Mat Zan definitely has a tough task on his hands as he will be needed to stop the onslaught from the likes of Selangor and Kelantan in order for Terengganu to triumph in 2012.
