Bayern Munich & Germany goalkeeeper Manuel Neuer happy without goal-line technology
The 25-year-old keeper acknowledges that it might be painful if a decision is given against your team, but believes that refereeing errors cancel each other out

Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer has stated that there is no need for goal-line technology, citing his belief that all refereeing errors cancel one another out.
Neuer was involved in a controversial incident in the 2010 World Cup while playing for Germany, when a shot from England's Frank Lampard at the round of 16 stage appeared to cross his line, yet the 25-year-old says expensive technology would make little difference.
"In football, advantages and disadvantages cancel each other out, so I am okay that there is a person entrusted with doing a job," Neuer told The Hindustan Times.
"Of course I understand that if something like this happens at a World Cup, it can make people very angry, but I still wouldn't force it."
Fifa president Sepp Blatter has indicated that goal-line technology will be in place in time for the 2014 World Cup.
