Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng: Hamburg will pull everyone back against us
The Germany international has stated his belief that Thorsten Fink's men will focus on defending, and expects a difficult encounter at the Imtech Arena

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng is eagerly anticipating the upcoming Bundesliga match away to Hamburg, but feels that a stern test awaits the Bavarians.
Jupp Heynckes' men recorded a comprehensive 5-0 win when the sides met at the Allianz Arena last autumn, but the Germany international thinks that HSV coach Thorsten Fink will employ a more cautious approach at the weekend.
"Thorsten Fink is a good coach for HSV, and it certainly won’t be as easy as the reverse fixture," Boateng was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"They won’t play like they played against Borussia Dortmund versus us. They’ll pull everyone back and play their own counter-attacking football."
The versatile defender went on to make it clear that FCB are fully focused on their quest to win the German top flight, and will not be distracted by other competitions.
"We’re not thinking about the Champions League or the DFB Cup. We’re focused on the Bundesliga," he concluded.
Saturday's game against Hamburg at the Imtech Arena kicks off at 17.30CET.
