| Wolfsburg 3-2 Freiburg |
| Wolfsburg picked up vital three points to pull away from the relegation scrap by beating Freiburg 3-2. Petr Jiracek got the hosts off to a great start after five minutes, but they were soon pegged back by a Johannes Flum effort. The parity didn't last long however, with Marcel Schafer putting Wolfsburg back in front. Daniel Caligiuri equalised just before half-time, but soon after the break Jiracek got his second of the game to secure victory for his side. |

Bremen lost further ground in their pursuit of Champions League qualification with a 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim.
Jannik Vestergaard got the visitors off to the ideal start after just four minutes, converting a Sebastian Rudy corner. It appeared as though that would be enough for the visitors to secure a victory, but Marko Arnautovic scored an equaliser deep into injury time. Thomas Schaaf's men now sit seven points behind Borussia Monchengladbach in the race for qualification to Europe's premier competition. |

After a tight opening period, Hertha Berlin collapsed around the half-hour mark. Vedad Ibisevic put his side ahead, with Martin Harnik adding a second soon after, before Andreas Ottl was dismissed for the visitors. Shinji Okazaki put the hosts into a 3-0 advantage and Harnik grabbed his second just before the break. Harnik wasn't done there, however, completing his hat-trick minutes after the restart. |
