Official: FC Twente Sign South Africa's Bernard Parker

Dutch Eredivisie club FC Twente have announced the signing of Bafana Bafana striker Bernard Parker from Thanda Royal
Zulu, with the fee believed to be around €1 million (R11.3-million).
The four-year deal will see the South African tied to the club for some time to come. Parker signed his transfer papers yesterday afternoon at the offices of Pro Sport International, his management company.
On his way to sign, Parker revealed to Kickoff.com, “The papers are ready at my business manager’s offices in Jo’burg and I’m on my way there as I speak to you. I will be signing a four-year contract and, I’m excited, man."
Parker was on the plane to Holland last night, “I’m leaving at 23h00 and I’m looking forward to making it big at FC Twente,” he said.
The Dutch club's official website confirms that Parker has completed his transfer today, signing a contract with Twente after speculation had linked him to the club for a few weeks.
The striker has been in great form for his country over the last year, and he has stood out as South Africa's best player over the past season, scoring for his Serbian club despite problems with pay during his first experience in Europe at Red Star Belgrade due to the club struggling financially.
