World Champions Spain To Take On African XI In South Africa

The match between World Cup champions Spain and a selection of African stars is reportedly set for later this year.

World champions Spain have been earmarked for a showdown against an Africa XI this year in South Africa.

South African Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula announced this mouth-watering clash at a media briefing on Monday and with a view to show appreciation to those who played a pivotal role in the hosting of the first World Cup in Africa.

No specific date for the duel was mentioned, but it will be in June, which will be a year after the successful staging of arguably football’s biggest event.
