As we near the end of the winter transfer window, many of the bigger clubs across the world have so far kept their cards very close to their chests, deciding to hold out until the summer before making swoops for available targets.
However, the action is not over yet, as many of the beautiful game's stars are still pondering a move. And, with just a day to go, Goal.com has arranged a comprehensive list of all of those still capable of making the headlines off the pitch.
First, in alphabetical order, we look at the more likely and well-known names, with an additional section below that includes the lesser publicised transfers.
The former Villarreal man is seemingly desperate to make a move away from the Lisbon giants following his ill-fated move to Portugal last summer, since when he has racked up just four competitive appearances.
The World Cup winner has already spent one spell with Espanyol between 1997 and 1999, and a return to Catalunya would be a much-needed boost to the left-back following his isolation from Jorge Jesus' plans.
The Mexican looks set to finally break free from White Hart Lane three-and-a-half years after his arrival from Barcelona. Having again failed to make a great impression on the first-team squad after his return from a loan spell with Racing Santander, Dos Santos has been the subject of bids from both Villarreal and Granada.
Sevilla had also hoped to lodge a committed interest in the nippy forward, but president Jose Maria del Nido was put off by Spurs' €6.5m asking price. And with negotiations with Villarreal "well on their way", according to the Spaniards' vice-president Jose Manuel Llaneza, it would appear that a switch to the Yellow Submarine could be made official in the next 48 hours.
The Moroccan was paraded around the Viola's medical facility in front of the watching world over the weekend in a bid to show that the departure of Alberto Gilardino is about to be offset.
With Amauri having already come in, El Hamdaoui's arrival will mean some versatility will be afforded to coach Delio Rossi, and the deal is all but done to bring the former AZ and Willem II man in for €2 million.
Lucho's future is set to be decided on Monday afternoon, as a season made up so far of little more than bench-warming comes to a head. Porto are reportedly keen to bring the Argentine back to his former club, with striker Silvestre Varela being used as an exchange tool.
The Argentine left the Portuguese side for €18m in 2009, but a return to the Estadio do Dragao could well be seen as a necessity should Porto lose Fredy Guarin.
It is Guarin's potential move to San Siro which has sparked Porto into late transfer action, after the breakdown of talks with Juventus had originally seemed likely to result in the Colombian staying put.
The Bianconeri's decision to give Martin Caceres the last spot on their extracomunitario roster meant any attempts to sign Guarin would have to wait until the summer, and Inter took their chance to pounce. Italian reports claim the deal could be completed as early as Monday night, with Thiago Motta's move to Paris Saint-Germain no longer considered a necessity for the transfer of Guarin to be forced through.
Despite Wolfsburg declaring they will not let Helmes leave on loan, there is still every chance he could be on his way out before Tuesday night. With a stint in the second team having been endured during his spell out of favour since his move from Bayer Leverkusen last January, both player and coach Felix Magath appear eager for a parting of the ways.
Helmes cost die Wolfe €8m a year ago, but will likely command a much smaller fee this time around given his recent inactivity, with Eintracht Frankfurt leading an apparent four-club chase for his signature.
Honda's destination has seemed likely to be the blue half of Rome for some time now, and it appears only a matter of time before the Biancocelesti confirm a €14m switch.
The Japan international has been linked with a number of clubs of the last month, but Lazio director Igli Tare admitted in the past few days that a deal is nearly done, with the last obstacle of clearing a space on their extracomunitario list set to leave them free to complete the high-profile signing.
Claudio Ranieri's will appears to be the final barrier preventing the Brazilian-born Italy international from completing a move to Paris. A deal has looked likely for a couple of weeks now, but despite the player publicly expressing his liking for the French capital, it is down to his coach's power at Inter as to whether he is allowed to leave.
The former Roma boss sees Thiago Motta as an important part of his side, regardless of whether Fredy Guarin is added to the roster, but it is perhaps telling that nobody from the Nerazzurri hierarchy has refused to rule out a move for the ex-Barcelona and Genoa midfielder.
After initial interest from Milan and Inter, it has become nothing more than a formality that Nainggolan would sign for the Bianconeri. The only issue that appears to remain is Cagliari's desire to find a suitable replacement for the Belgian of Indonesian origin.
Juve have gone as far as to suggest they'd sign Fulham's Pajtim Kasami and loan him to Cesena so that Cagliari could pick up the Seahorses' Marco Parolo, but as things stand it is Luca Marrone who may well be sent to Sardinia in order to force through a deal before the 19.00CET Tuesday deadline in Italy.
Isolani president Massimo Cellino has claimed that Juve will not get their man, but this is likely to be little more than posturing at this stage as the Serie A leaders look to bolster their midfield.
Oh, when will it all end? We've had Milan wanting to loan the player, Inter admitting an interest, Milan agreeing a deal with the player, Inter making a bid, Milan pulling out of the deal, Inter admitting defeat, PSG showing an interest, Milan saying they've not given up, PSG giving up ... And all the while Manchester City have been steadfast in their response.
The Citizens continue to rule out a loan move as a possibility, but with the hours ticking by to Tuesday night and the possibility of having an unhappy and unsettling influence return to the club, don't be surprised to see a late u-turn result in Tevez finally - FINALLY! - leaving for pastures now.

After much talk early in the month regarding interest from Malaga and Marseille - who saw the Paraguayan as a replacement for Loic Remy had Tottenham followed through their interest - Barrios has more recently been linked with several Premier League clubs.
