GOALKEEPER

Thomas KRAFT
Hertha Berlin

Thomas Kraft was arguably man of the match for Hertha Berlin as his side managed to scrape by with a 1-1 draw away to Kaiserslautern. The former Bayern Munich man had no shortage of work to do, but commanded his box well and saved a number of attempts to ensure a point.

DANTE

On Friday, Manuel Friedrich was in fine form for Leverkusen as the Champions League hopefuls kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win against Hoffenheim. In Gladbach, Dante was immense for the hosts as they drew 1-1 to keep pace with Dortmund. The Brazilian did extremely well to hold the defending league champions back, and nearly grabbed a winner for his side. On Sunday Heiko Westermann had a strong showing for Hamburg as the north German side kept a clean sheet against Nurnberg, who looked dangerous in attack.

Christian FUCHS

Captain Philipp Lahm led by example and took responsibility for his side as Bayern Munich eventually overcame stiff resistance to earn a 4-1 win over Bremen. Christian Gentner netted a first-half brace against Koln, which was just enough for Stuttgart to avoid having their opponents take all three points in their comeback. In Gelsenkirchen, Christian Fuchs was Schalke's inspiration in their 3-1 home win against Augsburg. The Austrian bombed forward, always finding use as an auxiliary attacker, and his goal - albeit rather fortuitous - restored the hosts' advantage.

Arjen ROBBEN
Bayern Munich

Franck RIBERY
Bayern Munich

As a team, Bayern Munich struggled for long spells against Werder Bremen, but individually, Franck Ribery was immense: the Frenchman won a penalty and scored two goals as his side earned a convincing victory. Arjen Robben played a big role in changing the game in the Bavarians' favour. When he entered the fray, the score was 1-1. In half an hour, he helped turn the result to a 4-1 success, contributing a pair of penalties.

FORWARDS

 Klaas-Jan HUNTELAAR

Lukas PODOLSKI

Schalke's Klaas-Jan Huntelaar drew level with Mario Gomez atop the Bundesliga's scoring charts on Sunday, as he scored a goal and assisted another in his team's 3-1 win over Augsburg. In Swabia, Lukas Podolski scored a penalty and found the net at the very death to equalise in Koln's 2-2 draw with Stuttgart.
